久病纏身無子嗣 老翁偕妻路中等車撞

久病纏身的王姓老翁，因膝下無子，又不想拖累老伴，夫妻倆商量後，認為活在世上沒希望，便相偕站在路中央等車撞，想一起終結一生，案經基警二分局據報，將佇立在路中央自殺的老夫妻帶到路旁，除安撫並護送回家外，並通報社工單位關懷並後續追蹤。

警方調查，高齡八十六歲的王姓老翁，因病纏身，又膝下無子，長期需要老伴照護，為了不想拖累老伴，於昨日下午四時，夫妻倆因看病事宜爭執後，二人便談到活在人世間沒有任何希望，便齊生自殺的念頭。

王姓老翁遂推著輪椅和妻子一起到祥豐市場後，站在路中央想讓過往車輛撞死，基警二分局安瀾橋派出所據報，警員施黎明立即趕往現場，除先將王姓老夫妻帶到路旁安慰外，並徒步推著輪椅將老夫妻護送回家。

警員施黎明安置老夫妻後，立即通報榮民服務處及社會處派員對老夫妻進行關懷及後續追蹤，警勤區警員洪濬弘則表示會利用勤區查察及空檔時間對王姓老夫妻的日常生活進行關懷及陪伴聊天，避免遺憾事件發生。
