父親病的最嚴重那陣子他拼命說服我，剛剛那個啊，是你阿公汝知否，伊欲找我，緊喚佇伊，旁邊彼個就是伊後生，緊！我知道那不是我們的親戚。醫生吩咐，癌細胞轉移腦，病患看似清醒實則活在過去。那該如何答腔？依他的話順藤摸瓜，不要否定，此是至極關鍵：他在學習怎麼死。我說，阿公跟伊後生欲去看病，身體打壞去，等等再找吧。那個後生不便是他自己？

他不再關心時間流轉，時鐘與日出日落，已毫無關係。長久以來的無數次夢囈以及現實的認知斷層，使他對於整個世界產生隔閡。他的記憶如同他的身體愈漸消瘦，像一個喪失存在感的侏儒站在許多雙腳下他懷疑是別人長得太高，而他以前反覆行走的路已早早消失他開始懷疑腳尖的方向；他，逐漸地迷失自己，他也只能信任自己。通過他的眼睛或者說另一種看待世界的屈光折射：大氣層上數以萬計的星星遠迢臨至撒佈點點水銀，以黑夜為襯底，美化彼方星體滅亡的消息。

這是說有光就有光的上帝賜予將死者的最後贈禮，一場光的詭計。
