即使有短期協議 美前途仍黯淡

美國參眾兩院很可能今天就會通過法案，提高舉債上限並讓政府全面恢復運作。但從此天下太平了嗎？並非如此。

由於這次協議只是暫時性措施，數月後，民主共和兩黨對決的情況可能再度出現，而且未來可能繼續不斷重演。

而且最重要的是，他們必須治本而非治標，從根本解決美國聯邦政府不斷膨脹的問題，其中包括減稅與自動增加的福利津貼。

即使現在有人提出加稅並減少福利的兼顧方案，並獲得許多人支持，國會依然視而不見。共和黨堅決反對加稅，民主黨與勢力龐大的利益團體仍然強力反對減少社會福利支出。

許多社運人士認為，國會兩黨已經失去過去妥協、相忍為國的思想，一味想逼對方屈服，而這種做法可能傷害美國經濟。
