超微 FirePro攻新款Mac Pro商機

處理器大廠超微（AMD）宣布AMD FirePr專業繪圖解決方案（GPU）將為新款Mac Pro挹注前所未有的效能，超微表示，AMD FirePro D300、D500及D700專業繪圖卡為廣泛的內容創作及文書應用程式帶來優異的運算效能與可靠性，加上支援業界廣泛採納的OpenCL（開放運算語言），Mac Pro使用者除了能無縫地編輯完全解析的4K影片（full-resolution 4K video）、並同時為背景添加效果外，還能游刃有餘地支援高達三個高解析度4K顯示器。

超微強調，新款AMD FirePro繪圖卡採用AMD獲獎無數的次世代繪圖核心架構（Graphics Core Next；GCN），此架構的構想是從底層開始，聰明地管理渲染效能及運算負載。AMD FirePro繪圖卡和OpenCL的組合獲得蘋果電腦與AMD的全力支持，此設計是專為小巧的機身提供強悍的運算與繪圖效能。
