〈MLB〉未能進季後賽名單　Uggla不悅

日前勇士總教練所公布的分區季後賽首輪球員名單中，並沒有本季轟出22支全壘打的Dan Uggla，對此Uggla除了震驚外也很失望與生氣。

雖然Uggla單季22轟排名全隊第3，但他的1成79打擊率再探生涯單季新低，根據資料，Uggla已超越1901年Bill Hallman的1成85，成為大聯盟史上單季打擊率最低的二壘手。

而且Uggla在9月1成12打擊率、高居國聯第3多的整季171次三振讓勇士總教練Fredi Gonzalez做出與Uggla不同想法的決定。

得知消息後Uggla說他很受傷，「勇士認為我無法幫助球隊獲勝」，「我並沒有無視自己的數據，但於此同時我知道我職業生涯所做的一切，並知道我能做什麼，所以我對這樣的決定感到意外。」

「當你聽到壞消息時，一開始的反應是生氣，冷靜過後你就會開始合理的思考事情。」原本說不想參加今天球隊練習的Uggla，之後還是作了打擊練習。

Gonzalez也同樣不好過，因為他在執教馬林魚時期就帶過Uggla，所以比起勇士原有的陣容，Gonzalez認識Uggla更久，「這是我擔任大聯盟總教練以來最困難的日子之一。」

Gonzalez希望Uggla能與球隊一同移動，包括前2場打完後前往洛杉磯，Uggla的言談中雖表達失望之意但還算理性，「我想回家，但我知道這是不對的。」
