印度執政黨在地方選舉中慘敗

執政15年的國大黨在印度最新的地方選舉慘敗，是明年大選選情可能告急的跡象之一。初步開票結果顯示，在德里市議會改選中，國大黨輸掉多數席次，人民黨可望在首都執政，反貪腐的小黨小老百姓黨則可望拿下超過三分之一的議席。

德里市議會4日改選，8日計票，據媒體統計，印度人民黨（Bharatiya Janata）在35個選區票數領先，成立僅1年的小老百姓黨（Aam Aadmi）在26個選區票數領先。在德里市議會的70席中，國大（Congress）黨可能拿不到10席，遠低於2008年獲得的43席。

國大黨坦承輸掉首都，代表國大黨角逐新德里選區議員的現任市長狄克希特（Sheila Dikshit），已為此遞辭呈。

依目前開票趨勢，在其他三個省的議會選舉中，人民黨可望拿下西印拉吉斯坦省議會與中印馬德雅省的多數席次。中印的恰蒂斯加爾省議會計票則呈現緊繃情況。

這次的地方選舉被視為是明年5月底印度舉行全國大選的前哨戰。
