廣東梅州煙火爆竹爆炸事故，死亡人數增至6人，包括3名兒童。

梅州興寧市官員表示，昨天下午在新圩鎮一個私藏煙火爆竹的民居發生爆炸及倒塌，6人死亡。屋主當時外出，但包括他的妻子、媳婦及兩名兩歲孫兒都不幸喪生，另外同時喪命的兩人是鄰居一對母子。

據初步調查，屋主向親家購買一批煙火爆竹私藏在家中，引發爆炸，民居倒塌成一片廢墟，旁邊一棟一層高住宅亦幾乎全部倒塌，旁邊數棟民居也無妄受災。

事故責任人已被警方扣留，正調查事故原因。
