凱特電話留言被駭 威廉說他差點被槍擊

已停刊的英國小報「世界新聞報」竊聽案的庭訊上揭露，該刊在凱特還是威廉王子女友時，駭入她的電話語音信箱，其中一通是威廉給凱特的留言，說他差點被空包彈擊中。

這是陪審團第一次聽到凱特的電話被駭。

威廉2006年在桑赫斯特接受軍官訓練，他說他在奧德夏特演習時，差點被空包彈擊中。

法庭當庭播放他的留言。他說：「嗨！寶貝，對不起，我剛從夜巡訓練回來，我在奧德夏特的樹林裡奔跑，追逐影子，結果徹底迷路了，我走進另一軍團的埋伏，有點糗，因為我差點被槍擊。不是實彈，而是空包彈，不過，如果被擊中，就糗斃了。」

世界新聞報當時報導說，威廉被空包彈擊中，事實上他只是險些被擊中。
