雙位數領先的火箭，第四節有Dwight Howard在禁區壓迫，Patrick Beverley也再現進攻火力，持續壓著76人打。

不過Spencer Hawes兩記三分球命中，幫76人追到6分落後，林書豪回敬一次三分未果，接著傳球不當，被Hawes截走。

球最後落到James Anderson手上，利用犯規上罰球線拿下2分，火箭被追到100比96。

之後林書豪又發生失誤，砍三分也未進，結果被Anderson三分破網，被追到100比98，火箭優勢逐漸流失，趕緊喊出暫停。

士氣打開的76人，暫停過後先守住Howard在禁區的進攻，跟著Thaddeus Young籃下轉身打板進，締造追到1分落後。

Chandler Parsons被犯規送上罰球線後投進1球，76人再接再厲，Tony Wroten打入追平分，火箭近2分鐘投籃未進。

76人高層擺明要清出球員拚樂透選秀，但球隊成員打出截然不同的氣勢，火箭這趟費城之旅打得不輕鬆，之後靠Parsons罰球取得104比103。

跟著76人成功運用犯規戰術，送Beverley上罰球線拿2分後，Anderson再度出手，弧頂出手再進，雙方106比106再度平手。

比賽也剩下6.6秒，火箭最後一波進攻機會Parsons操刀的Parsons未進，雙方進入延長賽。
