凱瑞訪沙國 安撫阿拉伯國家

美國國務卿凱瑞(John Kerry)3日表示，美國不會容許阿拉伯的友國遭受外來的攻擊。凱瑞談話的顯然是針對伊朗，並安撫阿拉伯盟國的反彈。

凱瑞在結束埃及訪問、準備轉往沙烏地阿拉伯前表示，他希望此行能修補沙國對美國的不滿。

最近美國處理敘利亞問題、改善和伊朗的關係，以及對埃及的立場，都引發沙烏地阿拉伯的不滿。

凱瑞承認，美國和部份盟國產生歧見，但強調，大家對每個案例都有共同的目標。

此外，凱瑞也表示，包括沙國在內的所有波斯灣盟國，都可以信賴美國對他們的支持。他說，保護盟國，美國永遠都會在。美國不會容許阿拉伯盟國遭受外來攻擊。

凱瑞已經抵達利雅德，並立即在3日晚上和沙國外交部長紹德親王(Prince Saud al-Faisal)會晤。凱瑞並將在4日會見沙國國王阿布杜拉(King Abdullah)。
