客座教授抄論文領補助　判還1480萬

大同大學講座教授蔡武雄，2006年間擔任大同大學「中國社會安定重大問題研究與資訊蒐整計畫」主持人，並接受國科會補助，2008年立委盧秀燕舉發，指蔡武雄的研究報告，有一半是抄襲而來，國科會及大同大學調查後，發現除涉抄襲外，還有經費核銷不實的問題，訴請他返還研究經費共1480萬元。
 
但因蔡旅居國外，法院以登報方式送達開庭通知書，視為已通知他到庭，但蔡均未理會也未回國開庭，法院依法進行「一造辯論」，採信大同大學的要求，判蔡應還錢；仍可上訴。
