NYSE失去美國最大股票交易所營運商地位

正在進行合併的BATS全球市場和Direct Edge控股公司，18日擠下洲際交易所（ICE ）、成為美國最大的股票交易所營運商。

彭博資訊彙編的數據顯示，ICE旗下的紐約證交所（NYSE）等三個股票交易所，18日處理的交易量佔美國整體的21.8%，低於BATS與Direct Edge旗下四個交易所合計的21.9%。

BATS和Direct Edge今年8月26日宣布同意合併，預計明年第1季可望完成合併。

NYSE雖然是全球市值最高的交易所，但在美國股票市場的地位已經降低，目前美國股票分散在逾50個市場交易。2005年左右開始交易的BATS和Direct Edge，對NYSE和那斯達克壟斷地位的瓦解產生推波助瀾的作用。
